Nikki Bella has been in pursuit of singles gold since her return to WWE last year. She could take the strap off Chelsea Green on this week’s “SmackDown” with Crown Jewel lurking in the background.
Bella turned up the heat on Sunday while she and her sister, Brie, were in Paris to watch the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New Orleans Saints. She wore a cap similar to what Green wears during her ring entrance and performed the same moves before giving it her own Bella flavor.

“What now Chelsea?” Bella said in a video posted to her Instagram. “Doing those Hall of Famer things.”
She added in the caption, “Just doing them Hall of Famer things @chelseaagreen not like you’ll ever know what that’s like.”
The WWE Hall of Famer is next up in Green’s pursuit to make the fans and the rest of the locker room believe she’s a legitimate champion. She’s held the WWE Women’s Championship since SummerSlam when she defeated four others in a ladder match and claimed victory.

Green was first thought to be an interim champion with Rhea Ripley on the shelf. However, she’s recognized as the real champion in WWE lore. She knocked off Roxanne Perez on this past “SmackDown” and has two-time champion Bella waiting in the wings.
Should Green get through Bella, she will likely have Liv Morgan as her counterpart on Nov. 7 at Crown Jewel. In the premium live event, the two women’s title-holders will square off for the Crown Jewel Championship.
Meanwhile, the Bellas said they were backing the Saints in Paris.
“French influence,” Nikki Bella said. “We love to wrestle in New Orleans. And it’s only, I think, the best if New Orleans wins in Paris for the first NFL game.”
