Western Australia has welcomed its newest multimillionaire after a lucky punter won a massive Lotto jackpot overnight.
The Saturday Lotto punter was just one of three lucky Australians who scored a slice of the division one prize pool on September 12, with the windfall officially making the WA local a jaw-dropping $3.3 million richer.
The ticketholder was the only player from the west coast to nab the major jackpot — but they weren’t the only one who scored a cash prize from the Saturday draw.
11 West Aussies were among the pool of division two winners, with each of the punters taking home a sizeable $12,675.
The lucky division one winner’s jackpot is just the latest in a string of Lotto wins in WA through 2026 — with two Sandgropers snagging a huge $2.2 million prize just one week earlier.
The winning numbers were 38, 9, 20, 27, 3, and 30. The supplementary numbers were 4 and 42.
