West Australians experienced another round of wild weather, with strong winds hitting much of the State on Tuesday morning.
The Bureau of Meteorology recorded winds reaching 54km/h about 2am in Perth, with 11mm of rain also falling in the past 24 hours.
Most of that rain came after midnight, with 7.4mm recorded.
In Hillarys, wind gusts reached 72km/h, while Cape Leeuwin recorded the strongest winds in the State with 93km/h at 4am.
Perth is still experiencing more than 40km/h wind gusts and showers are expected for the rest of the morning, with up to 9mm.
A gale wind warning is in place for the coastlines in Leeuwin, Albany, Esperance and Eucla.
Strong winds are also expected off the coast of Perth, Gascoyne, Geraldton, Lancelin and Bunbury.
Conditions are expected to clear up by about 1pm in Perth. However, another cold front is forecast for Thursday.
Possible thunderstorms are mostly expected for parts of the South West, eastern Goldfields and western Gascoyne.
