A breakdown on Kwinana Freeway southbound has thrown motorists into peak hour traffic chaos on Tuesday evening.
The breakdown is located before Armadale Road at Jandakot and was reported by Main Roads at 4.55pm.
The right lane of the Freeway has been closed by Incident Response.
Traffic is slow leading up to the site, and Main Roads has reminded motorists to drive with care if travelling in the area.
