A person is trapped inside a vehicle following a collision between two vehicles on Reid Highway which caused one vehicle to roll onto its roof.
Four St John Ambulance units, as well as DFES and police, are responding to the crash in West Swan heading eastbound on Reid Highway, before West Swan Road.
Two vehicles, a car and a work van, collided just before 7.30am Thursday morning.
The work van remains upside down on the side of the highway as crews work to free the person trapped inside.
St John Ambulance understands one driver is out of their vehicle while the other is stuck.
A specialist from St John has been deployed to the scene to assist with a possible extrication.
Traffic has been slowed and the highway has been reduced to a single lane for that section.
More to come.
