Good news for the inmates locked up in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. An influencer who was alleged to have been involved in relationships with as many as 75 inmates has avoided jail herself.
According to TMZ, who obtained court documents involving a welfare fraud case involving influencer Ash Trevino, prosecutors allege she had relationships with “50-75 inmates of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.”

When the 37-year-old was arrested last December on warrants related to financial crime allegations, it was reported by Complex that she had more than 500,000 followers between Snapchat and Instagram.

The outlet also pointed out that most of the content she made centered around dating incarcerated men or men who had recently been released from prison, something they reported Trevino referred to as “inmate hopping.”
These lonely men, some of whom are locked up on charges including aggravated robbery and murder, according to prosecutors, don’t have to worry about this particular influencer going silent.

After being arrested, she posted bond and was released until March of this year, when she was taken back into custody for violations of the conditions of her bond. Prosecutors claimed she drank and purchased alcohol.
While they’re not happy about what they describe as “panhandling” on TikTok and allegedly engaging in sexually explicit videos on social media, last week prosecutors did receive a guilty plea from Ash Trevino.
She will avoid jail time after pleading guilty to welfare fraud and healthcare fraud, reports TMZ. She’s instead serving two years of community supervision.

On top of that, the “inmate hopping” influencer has to perform 120 hours of community service. She has to complete an anti-theft program, receive financial counseling and pay $16,799.95 in restitution to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
But it sounds like she’s free to continue her alleged relationships with inmates and add to the 50 to 75 she’s already been accused of having relationships with. Romance is out there if you know where to look.
