Twelve community groups are set to share in $28,000 of grants awarded in the second round of the Shire of Denmark’s community grants program, the first time the funding program has ever had a second round.

Nine organisations shared in $25,000 in funding in the first round of grants, bringing the shire’s total grant contribution to $53,500 for the 2025-26 financial year.
Shire of Denmark president Aaron Wiggins said it was great to see more worthy local initiatives funded, and encouraged other groups to apply in future rounds.
“It is great to see another round of our grants rolled out to benefit a well-rounded range of community groups that all have great initiatives,” Cr Wiggins said.
“I would encourage all community groups to take note of this opportunity and keep an eye out for the advertising of future rounds.”
