A woman whose body was found southwest of Melbourne has been remembered as a mother who “deserved a life filled with safety, happiness and peace”.
Dandenong mum Eva Lasrini, 53, was reported missing by family when she failed to board a flight to Bali to visit her two daughters.
Her body was found next to a rural road in Little River on Saturday afternoon.

Ms Lasrini’s friend Gali Porter has set up a fundraiser to support her daughters, Evindra and Vanya, who remain in Indonesia.

Ms Porter wrote on the GoFundMe page that Ms Lasrini’s daughters had “no other family to turn to” as they navigated this family loss “completely on their own”.

Police arrested Ms Lasrini’s estranged husband Allan Keys, 67, at Melbourne Airport.
He has been charged with her murder.
Mr Keys appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday evening and was remanded in custody to reappear on August 10.
