Alexander Graham, CEO of Luxe Jets says private charter costs have surged from about $10,000 to as much as $15,000 per flight hour out of Saudi Arabia since the Iran war began, pushing a one-way trip that once cost $63,000 to as much $100,000. He adds scarce jets, special permits and added risks are complicating evacuations out of the region, and even prompting some travelers to consider buying their own aircraft.
